Young Officials from the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam Learn About Korea's Legislative Administration
- Delegation of the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam visits the Ministry of Government Legislation of Korea
The Ministry of Government Legislation announced that a delegation of young officials from the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam visited the Ministry of Government Legislation on July 9 (Wednesday) to learn about Korea's legislative administration system.
This visit was arranged at the request of the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam to strengthen the legislative capabilities of its public officials by learning from legislative administration expertise of the Republic of Korea, which is leading the digital transformation and preparing to become one of the world's top three AI powers.
Eight young public officials from the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam visited the Ministry of Government Legislation to learn about the Ministry of Government Legislation's role in supervising and coordinating of government legislation, as well as its legal information systems such as the National Law Information Center. In particular, the delegation showed great interest in the Ministry of Government Legislation's AI-based legal services, the Intelligent Statute Search system, which allows users to easily find relevant legal provisions using everyday terms or sentences. They also showed interest in the Government Legislation Support System used by civil servants to carry out legislative tasks more efficiently.
"The Ministry of Government Legislation of Korea and the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam have maintained close cooperation in the field of legislation. Recently, this collaboration has been expending, especially in the area of legal information systems." said Kim Jin, Director General of the Legislative Policy Bureau of the Ministry of Government Legislation. "We will continue to actively share Korea's legislation, with Vietnam through legislative exchanges and cooperation, thereby contributing to the advancement of bilateral cooperation between our two countries."
